Here's What Photographers Are Saying...
"Once again, I want to thank you (Gina) and Daniel for a wonderful week of learning and discoveries. I loved every minute of the time I spent with you. This was not my first photography workshop, but it was the best by far. I am grateful for all the personal attention you gave to every attendee. You are great teachers and were very helpful every step of the way. I recommend your workshop to anyone who seeks to improve their technical skills and photographic vision. You are the best of the best."

"For my first photo tour, I opted for Gina Yeo and Daniel Tremblay's tour of Banff in November 2023 because of their local knowledge of the area. They were also extremely skilled photographers. The trip exceeded my expectations in every way. The level of service was outstanding. They ensured that everyone's needs were addressed, whether it was help with equipment, with composition and camera settings, with instructive training on more advanced techniques like focus stacking and blending modes, and by lending their own gear. I rarely saw the guides take any images themselves; their focus was exclusively on their clients. They also offered two 2-hour Zoom sessions after the trip ended and shared all their post-processing videos, brushes and overlays. Despite the intense schedule, Gina and Daniel were always in good humour and patient with our endless enquiries. It was an exceptional learning experience. My entire creative and workflow process has evolved. Can hardly wait to plan my next photo adventure."

"I have attended other workshops, but Gina and Daniel put on, by far, the best one ever. Not only were the photography locations spectacular, but the tips and techniques I learned were mind-blowing. I have been a serious photographer for over ten years, and these lessons would have been very useful from the beginning and will help me move to another level. Gina and Daniel gave their time and expertise to help with composition, camera tips and post-processing, and they made it all fun along the way. However, the highlight was the lifelong friends I met along the way. Any workshop with these two is highly recommended!

What You Will Experience...
"Gina is one of the most knowledgeable, patient, inspiring and kind photography instructors you will ever know. Her passion for the Canadian Rockies and her ability to show you how to capture those treasured moments and diverse landscapes is truly remarkable. If you want to get the most out of your photography experience in the Rockies, go...I mean, like, run to register for her retreat immediately. You will not regret it."

“The workshop was everything I wanted and more! I certainly learned tons of new technical skills…both in the field and at home in post-processing. And the locations were amazing. I never realized how magical November could be in Banff until immersing myself in it. I am in love with the Canadian Rockies and am already planning my next trip back. Thank you, Gina, for your thoughtful and inspiring introduction to your beautiful surroundings.”
-Kelley Priddy-
"Gina's workshop in November was a dream come true. She works hard to ensure you are in the best possible location to get the best shot. I loved seeing all that Banff has to offer! Gina makes sure to spend time with each participant and teaches according to what you want to learn. I got to do my first night blend, work with my remote trigger (we did not have a good relationship before), and learn a new method for blending exposures. I highly recommend Gina's workshop."

Well, hey there, photographer! I'm super excited that you are interested in learning landscape photography with me.
I'll be your co-host, mentor and teacher during all landscape photography tours and workshops here in the Canadian Rocky Mountains.
Recently, during a workshop, the group I was teaching was "oohed" and "ahhed" by a spectacular sunrise. I stood completely captivated by the moment as I watched the light move across one of my favourite mountain scenes. One of the photographers attending the workshop turned and smiled at me while she jokingly stated, "you don't really enjoy this much, do you?"
That's right! I'm about as passionate as a landscape photographer as one can be, and I look forward to not only sharing my enthusiasm for landscape photography with you but also my extensive practicing knowledge.
As a native Calgarian, I've spent my life exploring the Canadian Rocky Mountains. The Canadian Rockies are not just a place I've visited once or twice on a holiday. I frequently spend time in these mountain ranges and have experienced every season and weather condition. As a result, I have the knowledge and expertise about when and where to go to make the most of available light and opportunity during your visit to the Canadian Rocky Mountains.
I've also had the honour and pleasure of mentoring and teaching thousands of photographers both online and in person. My experience will get you the results you are looking for. I know what works and what doesn't in the field of landscape photography.
During your small group workshop you will have the opportunity to photograph the Canadian Rockies underneath the stunning colourful light of sunrise and sunset, mesmerizing star-studded skies, and enjoy the daytime hours in-between.
If you are interested in night photography, maybe...if we're very lucky, the Aurora Borealis might come out and dance!
There is no shortage of opportunity and beauty in the Canadian Rockies. Together we will take advantage of the infinite possibilities for jaw-dropping moments, and you will learn, laugh, and enhance your landscape photography techniques and skills.
You will undoubtedly return home with improved landscape photography skills, enhanced creative ideas, images you'll be proud to share and print and priceless memories that you'll treasure for your lifetime.
I'm thrilled to have the honour to spend time with you and mentor you in your landscape photography journey!
Warmly,
Gina.
